The World Weeps. . .  

Five years ago today, the worse possible thing could happen on American soil. We were attacked again. Only this time it wasn't an army but terrorists. I remember exactly where I was. I was at the computer room on the Penn State Altoona Campus. They had the news on and I remember hearing about the planes hitting the towers and the plane hitting in Shanksville. I couldn't believe it. I ran for my place and called my mom right away. She lives just outside of Meyersdale in Somerset County which isn't far from Shanksville. It took me several tries before I got through. I think I will always remember that moment. May God watch over those who left us so fast and those who continue on through the years.
