There is a lot to catch up on. Two saturdays ago, the sewage clogged up and backed up all over my pantry floor where my washer is and in my kitchen sink and bathroom tub. It was just so disgusting. The landlord came over and immediately said that he wouldn't be able to get someone out until monday morning. I am like what. We had to have running water and place to go to the bathroom. I checked the phone book, there are 4 24 hour plumbers that services this area. So we had to go stay at motel for the rest of Saturday night and Sunday. I took off work on monday so I could finish cleaning up the mess. We did get all the water off the floor, all 28 gallons worth. Sunday I cleaned the floor up with bleach. Monday I cleaned the sink and the bathroom once the water was able to run through the pipes again.
I had a job interview on Wednesday with a local web design company. I think the interview went well. One thing that is a big plus about the job is that it is always moving. The work would never stop so it would never be boring. I hate being bored. So I had to make up all those hours. I took 4 hours annual but Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I worked 9 hours. I was a little tired by the end of the week.
We did take the motel bill to the landlord to pay and he is like why did you stay at a motel. I am like we have kids and we couldn't stay in poo I mean really he could have called a 24 hour plumber then we wouldn't have had to stay elsewhere. He better reinburse us too or else I am going to be mad. It even says in the least that if the house is inhabitable, that an agreement be made between the landlord and tenant about a reduced rate. Well he checked out the problem on saturday and then he went to bed. My god!! You would think he would be concerned about his own property.
4th of July was okay. In-laws came up and we had a nice dinner. I made macaroni salad and my mother-in-law made potato salad. They also brought up fireworks. Those were nice. Of course it was all those ones that are close the ground since the others are illegal here in Pennsylvania.
Genealogy is going well. I am finding all sorts of connects between my mom's and dad's side of the family. It's so wonderful to keep everything within the family, NOT!!
Well I am going to go. Baby boy is crying and I have to wash bottles. Then we're going to the in-laws so they can watch the kids while we watch the pirates of the carribean. YaY some time out alone.
